Funding Overview For
Envision Counselling and Support Centre Inc.
Counselling and Group Program
(Personal and Family Violence Program)
- This program receives it core funding from the Ministry of Justice.
- Envision provides services to victims of sexual assault, abuse and other family abuse, including ‘after hours’ support , information, referrals and counselling services and groups to victims.
- In addition we are to provide education to agencies, community groups, schools and the community at large.
Family Support Program
- This program is funded through the Ministry of Social Services. When the ministry needs to put a support worker in the home, they contract Envision to provide this service.
Children Who Witness Violence
- This program is funded by the Ministry of Justice. Envision provides services to children and youth who witness violence.
Volunteer Program
- This program is solely funded by the United Way in Estevan and Weyburn.
Child and Youth Program
- This program is funded by Sun Country Health District.
- When a Social Worker at Mental Health feels that a client needs support in the home, they contract Envision to provide a worker in the client’s home.
ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) Program
- This program is funded by Sun Country Health District.
- When Sun Country ABI Coordinator feels that a person needs support in the home, they contract Envision to provide a worker in the clients home.
