Teen Counselling Program

Envision Counselling and Support Centre’s Youth Counselling program for adolescents over the age of 14 who are experiencing issues related to relationship and family abuse and violence and sexual assault. The goal of the program is to support and assist teens through one-on-one counselling which is tailored to the teen and their circumstances, in a confidential and safe environment. It is Envision’s belief that teens have the ability within themselves to identify their needs for counselling, as they are experts of their own experiences. Envision’s counsellors provide non-judgemental acceptance, empathy and guidance to encourage growth and healing. The services we offer are creative, flexible and comprehensive.
Individual counselling sessions to deal with these types of issues are available for teens on a short or long term basis. Teens can be seen at their school if they attend a designate school in Weyburn or Estevan (schools where there is an Envision counsellor available are determined on a yearly basis) or they can always be seen at Envision’s offices. Counselling is available free of charge. Teens or their parents or guardians need to call one of Envision’s offices to book an appointment. Teens can also book an appointment through their school’s Social Worker. If teens are under the age of 16 a consent form needs to be signed by a parent or guardian allowing them to attend counselling at Envision.
If you are interested in taking part in Envision’s Teen Counselling Program or would like to learn more about this program, please feel free to call either office and a counsellor can discuss how counselling may be helpful to you. Collect calls are accepted.
