About Our Service

Family Service Saskatchewan’s Rapid Access Counselling Program is delivered through a partnership of member agencies in communities across Saskatchewan.

This service is funded by the Saskatchewan Health Authority. We offer quick access to brief mental health services for individuals, couples and families.

We can help with concerns such as anxiety, depression, addictions, suicidal ideation, stress, relationship conflict, separation and divorce,

domestic violence and parenting. Our services are prioritized for individuals who do not have access to workplace benefits,

who live on a fixed or low income, and who would otherwise most often experience long waits for publicly funded services.

Services are provided by professional counsellors who hold education in the counselling and mental health field and who are

licensed with a professional regulatory body to provide this service.

Envision Counselling & Support Centre Inc. provides access to counselling sessions.

This service is available to children, youth, adults and families in Saskatchewan.

There is no waiting list and no cost to you.

Who Can Access Rapid Access Counselling?

Rapid Access Counselling is available for individuals ages 12 and up.

This service is designed to meet people where they’re at in the community, using a trauma-informed approach.

Note: Youth under 12 will be connected with our Children, Youth, and Their Caregivers Program for age-appropriate support.

If I Come to Rapid Access am I Going to be Referred to Something Else?

No. Rapid Access Counselling is meant to use a strength focused, trauma informed approach and meet each person where they are at.

Working on the presenting problem being faced in the present moment.

Should it come up that you are interested in long term counselling, or other options, you will be referred appropriately.
