Our Board of Directors is made up of passionate volunteers who guide the mission, vision and governance of Envision Counselling and Support Centre. As a non-profit, community-based organization, our Board of Directors is comprised of members who reside in Southeast Saskatchewan. Working together with staff our Board of Directors ensures our organization is meeting the needs of those living in the communities we serve.

Envision Counselling and Support Centre is accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on our volunteer Board of Directors. Board members contribute to the overall management and strategic direction of our organization as we provide counselling and support to adults, children, youth, couples and families.

Our Board is comprised of 12 community members from Southeast Saskatchewan. We are looking for members who support diversity, inclusion and are open to encouraging growth in the communities we serve. We are seeking individuals with a variety of skills and knowledge gained through education, work, volunteer or lived experience. Board Members volunteer approximately four hours per month to facilitate one meeting and any in-house committee work, with the exception of July and August. Meetings are held virtually.


Responsibilities of a Board Member:

  • Serve in a volunteer capacity without remuneration or profit.
  • Be actively involved on one of Envision’s Board Committees, in addition to attending 9 meetings per year.
  • Have a commitment to the purpose and policies of Envision.
  • Work cooperatively within a group.

Envision welcomes everyone, but we are especially looking for those with skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Public Relations
  • Public Awareness and Education
  • Legal
  • Finance
