“The most rewarding thing about being a Board Member is the opportunity to support those who are doing such incredible work in our community. I cannot provide the direct support to those who need it, but I can still be a part of the process.”

Envision plays a vital role in supporting individuals and families in Southeast Saskatchewan.  The hardworking employees of Envision have a special skillset that I truly admire.  As a member of the board, I look forward to guiding the organization and ensuring it remains a viable and vibrant part of our community.

Brent VanDeSype

“Helping others is the greatest investment out there…… Just a little help by those that can, makes a huge difference to those who need it.  At one point or another, we’ve all experienced a challenging time and leaned on someone to help us through…..now’s our time to be that person.  And, like a thank you to yourself, helping others has a positive impact on your own mental health.  It makes you feel good.”

This Could Be You!
We are fortunate to have had an array of enthusiastic and concerned individuals representing various communities in our service area. Since 1994, Envision Counselling and Support Centre has had more than 50 different community members sit on its Board of Directors.

Envision Counselling & Support Centre Inc. (“Envision”) is seeking new volunteer members for their Board of Directors.

Being a community based non-profit organization serving Southeast Saskatchewan for over 25 years, Envision is looking for members who reside in the Southeast corner of Saskatchewan, and who are inspired to create positive change within their community. The Board of Directors is made up of passionate volunteers who guide the mission, vision, and governance of the organization. Working together with staff, the Board of Directors ensure the needs of those living in the communities it serves are met.

Envision encourages and supports healthy choices in individuals, families, and communities, by offering innovative programming, and diverse counselling & support services. With locations in Estevan, Weyburn, Carlyle, and Oxbow, it offers counselling and support programs for adults, families, couples, children, and youth. Envision also participates in community events and programs in hopes of creating awareness and education on the issues of abuse and violence.
